Long Beach Camerata Singers Catalyst Ensemble presents Considering Matthew Shepard by Craig Hella Johnson. This contemporary oratorio explores the life and death of Matthew Shepard, a young University student who was murdered in a horrible hate crime in 1998. This is the first performance by LBCS’s new fully professional chamber ensemble.
