Christoph Bull plays film music featuring the iconic music of Star Wars by John Williams on The Great Organs at First Church to celebrate May the Fourth (Thursday, 5/4/23). In what is now an annual tradition, the Sanctuary at First Church leaps with the energy of the classic Sci-Fi series, brought to life on one of the largest organs in the world. The night brings several LA treasures together under one roof with the expansive creativity of Christoph Bull mixing the majestic colors of 20,000 pipes into his awe-inspiring artistry. The FCCLA Cathedral Choir under the direction of David Harris will make a guest appearance singing several of Williams' tunes and the popular "Vide Cor Meum" by Patrick Cassidy from the film "Hannibal". Doors open at 7:30, concert begins at 8:00. Free and open to the public.
