Spain and the New World

  • St. Andrews Catholic Church 311 North Raymond Avenue Pasadena, CA, 91103 United States (map)

Transport yourself with music from the Golden Age of Polyphony in 17th Century Spain and embark on a journey tracing the path of music as it was brought to the New World. In this concert our audience will hear works by the great masters of the high Spanish Renaissance, the daily music of 500 years ago, full of celestial sounds performed in an immersive a cappella concert. Join us on June 23rd at 7:30 PM for an intimate setting featuring a choir of fourteen professional singers from the Catalyst Ensemble.
