The Long Beach Camerata Singers present their seventh annual Peace Project performance. This year the theme is “The Worth of Water.” All of the music for the concert will refer to water in its libretto. For example, the repertoire will include “The Prow” by local composer Matthew Lyon Hazzard, and the traditional folk tune, “Oh Shenandoah,” among others. The music will be performed by a chorus of approximately 80 members. The Peace Project is distinguished by being a narrated concert. The narrator for Peace Project 7 “The Worth of Water” will be California State Assembly Member Josh Lowenthal.
